About Cherished Needle Creations

Cherished Needle Creations is dedicated to helping people build their needlework skills and create beautiful things.  Sherilyn Siegmund-Roach has been sewing, knitting, crocheting, embroidering, tatting, and creating since she was in grade school.  She is a veteran educator, with over 30 years teaching experience with students of all ages. Being tall, just over 6 feet, she has always had an interest in fashion sewing, to which she has added home decor and accessories sewing, as well as quilting to the list.  Her current interests are mostly in machine embroidery, heirloom sewing, and serger sewing.  She teaches serger, tatting, knitting, and machine embroidery locally, and is developing online classes as well.  Sherilyn teaches currently in Montgomery, Alabama, but next summer she will return to her home in Fairbanks, Alaska.  For information about Sherilyn’s local or online classes, please contact her at cherishedneedlecreations@gmail.com and visit her website at www.cherishedneedlecreations.com.
