Creative Serger Website

I just found a fun serger site by Anne Van der Kley, a textile artist who uses a serger for many of her creations, incorporating other sewing, knitting, and crochet techniques as well.  Most of her website at is pictures of her fun projects, and even though they are not the kind of art-to-wear that I would wear, I found them inspiring to consider all the different things I can do with my serger.  She also has a page on which she has a free download with advice on choosing and purchasing a serger and a free serger crochet-type project, using a coverstitch, as well.  There’s an online lesson too, as well as some technical advice!  I’m sure there’s more that I haven’t even found yet.

Take a look and let Anne jump start some of your own creativity!
